A wonderful tool for your rituals and magickal ceremonies, this sword is a wonderful blend of medieval and modern styling. Forged of stainless steel, it has two edges running down the length of its 28 1/4" blade, which is otherwise flat and without fuller and painted black, with red and white decorative markings just above the cross guard. This guard, composed of bare stainless steel, is a simple, flat bar of metal that stretches 5 1/2" wide just above a 2 1/4" diameter black, "flower" patterned guard that makes this protective portion of the blade three dimensional.
Beneath all of this runs a long hilt, allowing you to grip the sword in two hands, though its light weight and superb balance allow it to easily be held in one. The entire length of the hilt is wrapped in red cord, providing a soft, comfortable hold that will not slip in mid-summer`s heat, and ends in a small loop that serves as a pommel, and is decorated with the same red cord serving as a tassle.
Lightweight and simple in design and style, the whole sword measures approximately 39" in length, making it perfect for those length rituals where holding a heavier sword outright can become quite taxing upon your arms and shoulders. It also comes with a canvas sheath that allows you to keep it safe in storage, and has a strap to allow you to easily sling it over a shoulder for those hikes into the woods for outdoor rituals.
